Golf
Canouan is a wonderful day trip from Petit St. Vincent for golfers; cruising time is just 55 minutes, a distance of 8 nautical miles.
The Caribbean’s most exciting and challenging course has been named in the Top 10 of The Best Golf Courses globally.
The exhilarating and challenging Jim Fazio designed an 18-hole championship golf course set on dramatic sloping hills and along the ocean edge. Every world-class golfer’s dream is a hundred and fifty undulating acres of dramatic hills and seashore, with breathtaking sea views from every angle.
Holes 12, 13, 14 and 15 are undoubtedly the most scenic holes on the course and the most challenging.
They sit on the top of the ridge and have a spectacular view of the neighbouring islands. Hole 16 features one of the longest par 3 in the world at 305 yards. The breeze at the top of the ridge adds to the challenge but makes these holes the most sensational.

Beach Restaurant and Bar
The beach restaurant and bar lie on the island’s leeward side, surrounded by swaying palms and sugar-white sands.
The open-air restaurant is where you can dine on chargrilled locally caught seafood and vibrant Mediterranean-inspired salads or choose from our freshly baked clay oven pizzas. Those craving comfort food can tuck into juicy Black Angus burgers or Caribbean jerk chicken. And, between November 1 and April 30, our guests can feast on complimentary fresh lobster. Stretching over the water’s edge is Goatie’s Bar. With a traditional grass-thatched roof, low-cushioned sofas, and round rattan loungers, there’s nowhere better to enjoy a drink or two come sundown.
Choose from a selection of locally brewed beers and chilled wines from the cellar, or ask the team to mix up one of their signature rum punches.
Wine Cellar
Our walk-in wine cellar houses over 6,000 Old World and New World wines. With an emphasis on regional styles and terroir, our collection features multi-award winners such as Joseph Phelps Insignia, Penfolds Grange and Domaine Ott, to name but a few. We’ve also curated an exclusive collection of champagne, barrel-aged rums from all corners of the Caribbean, and a selection of world-famous whiskeys, cognacs, and gins.
Join our sommelier on a tasting journey across the globe. Discover which of our smooth, Cognac-style rums marry deliciously with our chef’s chocolate desserts, or let us pop open a bottle of your favourite champagne.
