The Location

Alila enjoys a privileged position within Sandy Lane Estate, one of Barbados’ most prestigious neighbourhoods. Guests benefit from access to the Sandy Lane Beach Club on the world-famous Sandy Lane Beach, where chaise lounges, umbrellas, washrooms, showers, and a snack bar are available. A private beach locker is also provided for added convenience.

The villa’s west coast location places guests close to fine dining, luxury shopping, and championship golf, while maintaining a peaceful and private setting.

The Bedrooms

Alila features four beautifully appointed bedroom suites.

Three bedrooms are located on the ground floor, each air-conditioned and complete with its own en-suite bathroom. These rooms offer immediate access to the pool deck, making early morning swims or sunset relaxation effortless.

The entire upper level is dedicated to the impressive primary suite. This expansive retreat includes his-and-hers dressing rooms, double vanity washbasins, a rain shower wet room, and a vintage freestanding outdoor bathtub set within a private terrace. From the master terrace, guests can enjoy sweeping views of the gardens and glimpses of the Caribbean Sea in the distance.

Indoors

The villa’s interiors are both sophisticated and welcoming. The open-plan design creates a seamless flow between lounge, dining, and courtyard spaces. A cosy media room equipped with surround sound, games, books, and a flat-screen TV with Firestick provides an inviting space for movie nights or quiet downtime.

The overall design balances natural textures with modern comforts, ensuring both style and functionality throughout.

Outdoors

Outdoor living is central to the Alila experience. The saline infinity pool stretches alongside a spacious deck framed by tropical gardens. A shaded raised gazebo accommodates six to eight guests, offering an ideal setting for sunset cocktails overlooking the west coast.

Beyond the pool area, the villa sits within over an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens, providing space for peaceful strolls or private moments of reflection.

With its harmonious design, tranquil setting, and access to exclusive beach facilities, Alila offers a rare blend of serenity, luxury, and modern convenience—an exceptional retreat in one of Barbados’ most sought-after locations.
