A unique lighthouse-style coral stone wall marks the entrance, leading to a spacious oceanfront verandah and pool deck. The open-plan design allows the living spaces to flow seamlessly outdoors, where cooling sea breezes and panoramic ocean views create an inviting and tranquil setting. With multiple living areas, including a casual lounge, dining space, and a separate apartment, Emily House is ideal for families or groups seeking both comfort and flexibility.

The Location

Located in the peaceful Atlantic Shores area on Barbados’ South Coast, Emily House offers a quiet retreat while remaining close to the island’s vibrant attractions. The area is well known for its excellent surfing spots, scenic coastal walks, and relaxed atmosphere.

Nearby, guests can visit the popular Miami Beach and the lively fishing town of Oistins, famous for its local dining and Friday night fish fry. The South Coast also offers a variety of restaurants, bars, and entertainment options, while the airport and Barbados Golf Club are just a short drive away.

The Bedrooms

Emily House offers flexible accommodation with up to seven bedrooms, making it ideal for larger groups or families.

The main bedroom is located on the ground floor and features a king-size bed, ample storage, and direct access to the pool patio. Its en-suite bathroom includes a shower, while a freestanding tub within the room enjoys ocean views.

A lower-level apartment, accessed via a stairwell, includes three additional bedrooms. One features three twin beds with a nearby bathroom, while the other two bedrooms—one with a king bed and the other with twin beds—share a bathroom. This space also includes a small kitchenette, living area, and private entrance, offering added privacy for guests.

On the upper level, three more bedrooms are accessed via a curved staircase. Two rooms on the western side share a bathroom—one with a king bed and seating area, and another with twin beds and a bay window. The third bedroom on the eastern side is more spacious, featuring a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. All rooms are bright, airy, and enjoy beautiful sea views.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces at Emily House are designed for relaxation and entertaining, with a spacious deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. At its centre is an elegant dining area with seating for eight, perfect for al fresco meals, whether casual breakfasts or evening dinners under the stars.

Sun loungers are positioned to make the most of the ocean views, providing the perfect place to unwind, read, or soak up the sun. The private pool offers a refreshing escape, while nearby natural bays and shallow pools along the cliffs invite exploration and quiet moments by the sea.
