The Villa

Barbados Private Villa, Mullins Mill in Barbados is a unique home, originally a 17th-century sugar mill positioned on 8 acres of landscaped grounds, offering the main house and two guest cottages. Mullins Mill is ideal for families or large groups due to its vast layout. A large sitting/dining verandah overlooks the gardens and gazebo and offers incredible ocean views.

The Villa

Location

Mullins Beach is one of the most popular beaches on the west coast of Barbados. There are many opportunities for water sports on Mullins Beach, with carefully roped-off areas to ensure the safety of beachgoers.

The beach bar is a great spot to grab a drink, snack or lunch during the day or to drop by later on for a romantic sunset dinner or nightcap.

Also at Mullins Beach, the Singita Wellness Centre offers Yoga & Pilates, and the luxuriously appointed treatment rooms offer; Massage, Reflexology, Facials, Manicures and Pedicures.

The Bedrooms

Mullins Mill can host parties of up to 16 in 8 air-conditioned bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms. ; two bedrooms are in the main house (one at the top of the mill), 2 in the adjacent ridge side cottage, and four more in the gate cottages on the grounds. The two bedrooms in the main house are the primary bedroom with a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom, and the second has a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom. The cottages all have twin beds that can convert to king beds, and all have ensuite bathrooms.

Rates

Villa available in multiple sizes (8, 6 or 4 bedrooms). Guests pay only for the bedrooms they use. Reduced rates mean unbooked rooms are not prepared or available.

Outdoors

The property has a ridge-side infinity swimming pool with a cabana and separate Jacuzzi located a short walk through the tropical gardens (about 100 yards) and tennis court. In addition, guests use the owner’s private beach cabana right on the famous Gibbs Beach as a private beach facility (just a 5-minute drive from Mullins Mill).

The Staff

The property is run by experienced staff who will do everything to make your holiday a memorable one; the chef skillfully prepares local delights. Chef – Prepares 3 meals per day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner and Cook – On the chef’s day off prepares 2 meals: breakfast & lunch. This property is the perfect location for exotic, tropical weddings and special occasions, in which case a venue fee will apply.
