The Villa

Residencia Llum is a recently built country villa offering modern comfort in a charming rustic style. Set on a private estate of over three acres in the peaceful countryside of Alaró, the villa combines the elegance of traditional architecture with all the conveniences of contemporary living. With a focus on space, privacy, and tranquillity, this four-bedroom, four-bathroom home is ideal for families or small groups looking to enjoy a relaxed holiday surrounded by nature.

Furnished with antique pieces and natural materials, the villa strikes a perfect balance between sophistication and simplicity. It is fully air-conditioned (with the exception of one bedroom), includes Wi-Fi throughout, and features a home office equipped with a computer and printer—perfect for business travellers who need to stay connected. Residencia Llum accommodates up to eight guests in complete comfort and style.

The Location

Residencia Llum enjoys a quiet and secluded setting, yet is conveniently located within walking distance of the charming town of Alaró, where guests will find shops, cafes, and essential amenities. The villa is also just 30 minutes by car from Palma, the island’s vibrant capital city, offering easy access to cultural attractions, shopping, dining, and beaches.

Surrounded by picturesque countryside and distant views of the Tramuntana Mountains, the villa’s location provides a peaceful retreat without feeling isolated. Whether you’re here to unwind, explore, or work remotely, Residencia Llum offers the ideal base.

The Bedrooms

The villa features four double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and its unique charm.

Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor and offers direct access to the front terrace. With beautiful views of the surrounding landscape, it includes air conditioning, fitted wardrobes, and a luxurious double-feature bed. The en-suite bathroom is complete with a walk-in shower and bathtub.

Bedroom 2, located on the first floor at the front of the house, features a traditional sleigh bed, fitted wardrobes, and air conditioning. Large windows provide stunning views of the countryside. The en-suite includes a walk-in shower and bath.

Bedroom 3, the primary suite, boasts a private balcony overlooking the valley, a gas fireplace, a dressing room, and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub and walk-in shower. This room also benefits from air conditioning.

Bedroom 4 is situated at the rear of the house, featuring garden views, a luxurious bed, and a private bathroom with a shower. Please note that this room is not air-conditioned.

Indoors

The interior of Residencia Llum is warm and inviting, with high ceilings, traditional finishes, and large windows that flood the rooms with natural light. The open-plan living and dining areas are tastefully furnished, and the indoor spaces flow seamlessly onto multiple terraces, offering an easy connection to the outdoors.

The kitchen is fully equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, including an electric hob, oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, large fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. All cookware and serving pieces are of high quality, including Villeroy and Boch tableware, fine cutlery, and matching linens.

A separate utility room houses a washing machine and dryer, providing plenty of space for laundry and other domestic tasks. The office is ideal for those needing to work during their stay, with a proper desk, computer, printer, and fast satellite Wi-Fi.

Outdoors

Residencia Llum’s exterior spaces are just as impressive as its interiors. The villa is surrounded by over three acres of beautifully landscaped gardens featuring mature trees, native plants, and several water features including ponds and streams, which enhance the sense of peace and privacy.

A highlight of the grounds is the ‘mirador’—a raised viewing terrace at the highest point of the garden, where guests can enjoy panoramic views of the countryside and distant mountains.

The private swimming pool is perfect for cooling off on warm days and is surrounded by a sunbathing area with loungers. Multiple terraces provide both shaded and sunny spots for relaxing or dining, including one with a large stone table for alfresco meals, and another with comfortable wicker seating for drinks or conversation.
