Each bedroom typically accommodates up to two people.
If more guests arrive than initially declared, a fee for additional guests is due immediately. However, the total number of guests must not exceed the villa’s maximum occupancy, as noted in the signed rental agreement.
Infants under 2 in cots aren’t counted but must be reported when booking.
Guests should act responsibly, respecting the villa and its neighbours. Damaging property is unacceptable.
Subleasing is not allowed.
The villa’s manager should have unrestricted access to maintenance.
2. Pool Safety
If the villa has a pool, it meets French safety standards.
The pool alarm must be active throughout the stay. However, it doesn’t replace the need for supervision.
3. Check-In/Out
Check-in is after 3 pm, and check-out is by 11 am unless otherwise agreed.
4. Booking & Cancellation
A 50% deposit of the total rent is required for booking confirmation.
Reservations only become official after receiving the deposit and a signed contract.
The remaining payment is due 60 days before arrival.
If not paid on time, the booking might be cancelled, and the deposit will be forfeited.
Cancellation Rules:
+90 days prior: Full deposit refund minus handling fees.
60-90 days prior: 30% deposit retained.
Less than 60 days: No refund.
No-shows are deemed cancellations.
Holiday Season Rules:
A 50% deposit is required for the festive season bookings.
If cancelled 91+ days before: Full refund minus fees.
61-90 days before: 50% of the rent is retained.
Less than 61 days: No refund.
5. COVID-19 Cancellation
If COVID-19 restrictions prevent travel (closed borders/airports, lockdowns in the home country or St. Barthélemy), you may get a full refund or reschedule within a year.
For other reasons, the regular cancellation policy applies. It’s recommended to have travel insurance for other pandemic-related issues.
6. Security Deposit
A credit card detail will be taken at arrival to cover potential damages.
Any damage will be charged to this card, plus a 5% fee.
Report any existing damage immediately upon arrival.
7. Housekeeping
Daily cleaning is included, except Sundays and holidays, unless specified otherwise.
Towels and linens are changed every 2-3 days.
8. Pricing
Rates are per night, in EUR or USD, for up to two guests per bedroom.
A minimum 7-night stay is typically required, but exceptions might apply.
Special rates apply during holidays.
9. Personal Property
Guests’ belongings are their responsibility. Valuables should be in safes.
The agency and owner aren’t responsible for any lost or damaged items.
10. Travel Insurance
It’s recommended that guests have their travel insurance.
The agency or owner isn’t liable for travel issues (flight delays, lost luggage, etc.).
11. Visa Regulations
Guests should check visa requirements with the French Embassy.
Refunds won’t be given if guests can’t enter due to visa issues.
12. Resolving Issues
Report any villa-related issues immediately during the stay.
Only complaints reported during the stay will be considered.
French law governs this agreement. Any disputes will be resolved in the Tribunal de Basse Terre, Guadeloupe.
