Upon arrival at Mangwana, you’ll be greeted by a mezzanine level that opens up to a spacious and well-appointed open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area, all adorned with a stunning vaulted ceiling. The focal point of this magnificent space is the 16-foot Brazilian hardwood doors that frame the pool, offering an awe-inspiring backdrop of panoramic views stretching across the Grenadines.
Entertainment options abound at Mangwana. Step into the outdoor area specially designed for petanque (boules), or make use of the games room and TV room, featuring table tennis, table football, a rowing machine, and a massage table. There’s no shortage of activities to keep you and your guests entertained.
The Bedrooms
Luxury Bequia Villa Mangwana boasts six spacious and luxurious bedrooms, five of which are situated in the two towers on either side of the pool. Two bedrooms offer king-sized beds, while the others feature twin beds that can easily be converted into king-sized doubles if desired. Each bedroom boasts a private balcony, granting stunning views of the magnificent pool or the breathtaking scenery of the neighbouring islands. Four of these bedrooms are en-suite, with two offering the unique experience of showering beneath the starry night sky. The sixth bedroom, also en-suite and featuring two large balconies, is located separately on the southwest side of the villa.
Outdoors
The centrepiece of Mangwana is the grand infinity pool, seamlessly blending with the surrounding landscape. All principal rooms lead directly to this spectacular feature. Perched 600 feet above sea level, guests can revel in 300 degrees of awe-inspiring vistas, stretching across Balliceaux, Battowia, Mustique, and the Southern Grenadines Islands. Just below the pool, a wooden sundeck offers a tranquil treetop setting for soaking up the breathtaking views.
On the southwest side of the villa, a shaded terrace creates the perfect space for outdoor barbecues and al fresco dining. Additionally, a walled garden area in the southeast invites guests to relax in a hammock while observing the gentle movements of the resident pet tortoises.
