The Great House is a luxurious villa rental, a warm and welcoming island home spanning two and a half acres of manicured tropical gardens with a full complement of staff to cater to every need. Its understated style and elegance borrow much from Europe and North America while retaining its original Barbadian charm. The Great House was initially built in 1978 and fully restored and extended in 2019 to include a large games room, home cinema, spa room, fully equipped gym, conference room, and a floodlit US Open-style tennis court.

The Bedrooms

With a total of 12 expansive suites, this remarkable property can accommodate up to 30 guests in absolute comfort and style. Each suite offers a generous amount of space and is thoughtfully designed to provide privacy and tranquillity. Impeccable attention to detail is evident throughout, with nightly turndown service, luxurious Egyptian cotton linens, and indulgent Penhaligon toiletries. Guests can unwind and rejuvenate in these opulent retreats, enjoying a restful night’s sleep and waking up refreshed to the sounds of paradise. The layout of the property, featuring multiple buildings, ensures that even with a large group, everyone can find their haven of peace, creating an atmosphere of exclusivity and serenity.

Outdoors

This vast 2.5-acre property of manicured tropical gardens comprises 5 separate buildings; the Great House, the Carriage House, the newly built two cottages that can have either king or singles, and Hillaby House. The broad seafront area offers numerous formal or informal dining possibilities, including a wood-fired pizza oven and full beach bar, entertainment or tranquil relaxation all set amongst lily ponds, lawns, and lovingly tended gardens. Two “perch beaches” have been created on either side of the property, equipped with sun lounges. Hence, you enjoy the privacy on the beach while maintaining privacy property with views of the sea right in front; even when the tide comes in, you will always have your beach on the property.
